   This is really 2 separate reviews in one. First, the costume is as pictured, with a few accessories to match, such as the belt, leggings, and a net fingerless glove. The quality is what I would expect from a costume, or anything purchased at Party City, etc. It seems to be a handwash and line dry type of costume, in my opinion, but should hold up well for an 80’s party or Halloween, maybe even for more than one season. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that it runs pretty large. I am usually an adult XS in most clothing, because I am small up top by have curvy hips (usually a 6 or 8 in pants). I ordered the XS, and the dress (one piece) pretty much hangs off of me. I can make it work with the belt, but even the hip area is pretty loose, and I have some curves. The leggings are kind of loose around the crotch, but tight on the legs, so that’s fine. I am 5’3″ and about 120 lbs, so just be aware that if you’re smaller than that, you may want to go with the Tween or Child sizes in a large or XL. Luckily, since it’s a Prime item, I can return if if I need to.

   It’s a cute 80s outfit and it’s better made than many costumes I’ve had before. Still, it’s not something you would wear on a daily basis because it is still made with cheaper material. It’s just better constructed than most costumes.I felt like I was 8 years old wearing this costume because it just brought memories when I used to wear silly things like that as a kid. People asked where I got the costume and someone even accused me of spending time on my costume. I wore it to an 80s theme party and though I am definitely dressed for it, I don’t think it was the best costume of the night. Still, it was comfortable and didn’t fall apart. It fit just as it should and great if you’re looking for a little bit more of a conservative costume.

   Much better than expected! The costume is adorable and fits great. The quality is a bit better than most costumes. Awesome that it comes with the extra accessories as well, especially given the affordable price.My reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that the top was super wrinkled. The material had a coating on it that made me hesitate to iron it, as I was afraid the coating would melt and ruin the top. I hung it up and steamed it in the shower which helped enough. However, I wish it came with care instructions, or was packed in a way that didn’t cause as many deep creases.

   This was perfect for my 80s costume party. Fit as expected. I’m 5’2 and 145lbs and the medium fit me perfectly. The only problem I found with it was the elastic in the waist of the leggings became looser as the day went on. But they still fit. I would suggest this costume to others.

   Always read the reviews! It helped me greatly to know what size to choose. I am 5 foot 4-1/2 inches tall and normally wear medium. I read that the entire outfit runs on the larger side and so upon several reviews stating this, I ordered a small. The top still fell a little more off the shoulders but then again I do not have broad shoulders. If you have a narrower frame like myself, the top will be a little loose but overall it was fine. Also, the small-sized leggings fit like my regular medium-sized yoga pants. FYI, the outfit was a HIT for my best friend’s surprise 50th Birthday as we themed it “Rockin’ the 80’s”!!!I hope this helps for those who are interested!

   This item was purchased as a plus size costume for my gymnastics performance team. It did NOT look cute at all and the skirt part of the dress…words escape me…it was horrible. The design was a zebra print in pink. Nothing like the picture. It didn’t even make it out of the hotel room. It went right into the trash as we were traveling for three weeks and I had no intention of hauling that around America.

   It was cute that there was a matching kids costume so my daughter and I could wear them to an 80s themed skate party but the quality wasn’t very good. It also ran a little small.
