   The material is decent. This is not one of those shiny, flimsy, polyester type costumes. The costume pants are made with elastic which my husband found very comfortable. We purchased an XL – for his medium frame of 5’9″ and 190 lbs. The pants fit very well, though the jacket seems a bit large around the shoulders and waist. The white polyester tie is shiny and black almost dickey type shirt were less impressive so he wore his own black shirt and white tie. The material wears well, does not wrinkle excessively and is breathable. It would be nicer and rate 5 stars if the shirt and tie were made of a better non-shiny material and if shoe covers came with the costume. I would recommend this costume.

   Ok, so after reading the reviews I was INCREDIBLY concerned with how the sizing would fit. My boyfriend is 5’9 or so and is quite fit so I thought the “Large” would fit entirely terrible but that was the size we went with.It fits perfect!! I think that the people who left reviews were either not aware that prohibition era/old school gangsters wore over-sized shirts or the people are incredibly short/tall. The pants are not high watered or falling off his body, which is great considering how thin he is. The shirt looks amazing. I did not have to pin away extra material as it fits soooo perfect it looks like it could have been tailored to fit him.If you’ve got more meat on your bones, just know that the material is stretchy and forgiving. If you’re taller than 5’9 I’d say go up to the extra large but other than that I’d say the large would fit a lot of people. Had my brother try it on and he’s got 30 pounds on my boyfriend. Still fit perfectly.We’ve already gotten several compliments on it..he was so excited he’s worn it to the store twice now lol!!Gonna buy next year’s costume through this company for him.

   Pros: This costume fit my 6’2” 200 lb very well. He was very comfortable wearing it all night at a Halloween party. The double breasted jacket has fake pockets and the pants have a comfortable elastic waist. The length and width of both pieces were perfect (he wears 36×32 sized pants and 42-43 Jacket).The faux shirt and tie are actually a “dickie” with a Velcro collar and attached white tie, with strings at the chest level that tie around the back.Cons: neither the jacket or pants have functional pockets.The jacket does not have an inside button so I had to use a safety pin to secure the underlay of the jacket to prevent it from drooping past the hem.The strings on the dickie that tie around the chest is very flimsy. Again, safely pins come in handy for securing the dickie to his T shirt.The costume arrives as a wrinkled mess, so it must be ironed in order for the collar, lapels and tie to lay properly. (Caution: use a pressing cloth or paper towel, to prevent the polyester fabric from melting!).

   Worked good for halloweeen costume- I was afraid from reviews it would be too small- ordered both L-XL- no issues on returns-I did “add” a little- added extra snap to inside of jacket to make it lay more like a suit jacket- also added buttons to sleeve cuffs- again to make it look more like suit- little things that made the world of difference-Yes it is like a pajama material- but was cold the night it was worn so was able to put long underwear under it- worked perfect- did not have any issues- did not use the shirt front- wore a dress shirt to match color of flapper dress- added hat -They were a “sharp dress” coupleThe large fit- 6’2” 265lb- he is more upper body – shoulder/ chest- fit well

   Got this for my Gomez Addams Halloween costume. To all the people who are complain about the pants being like pajamas, its a halloween costume not a real suit IDK what you expected. But yes the pants do have an elastic band and that is fine. the fabric is a bit shiny and makes the costume look cheaper. The fabric is thin so be sure to put on under cloths! the “shirt and Tie” are one… thing you kinda put on around your neck, tuck in and tie around your chest, I suggest a real formal shirt and tie from Walmart or something.Over all the costume is not bad, it is just a Halloween costume after all

   I purchased this for my boyfriend to go as Gomez Addams for Halloween. It was definitely a hit! He typically wears size XL shirts and I purchased a Large for him after reading reviews. It fit wonderfully and every one loved it. I also read reviews and already knew this would be like a pajama type material, which my boyfriend said was comfortable. There aren’t any pockets so just be aware of that. I also knew to iron it, which yes it does require some ironing before wear….however, not much. Recommend.

   The quality of the material is good. That’s why I rated it a 3 star rating. I received a bad costume. The folded part of the jacket has a stiff underlined material. It came bent, and I cannot unbend it. It would’ve been a 5 star if this wasn’t an issue. Other reviews said the same thing. One customer uploaded a picture of the bent fabric. I got the same quality, item.

   I bought this for my husband to be Gomez from the Addams family, the costume worked out well! It was a little big and you could tell it was more costume material than an actual suit, but it looked great and people knew exactly who he was! I would size down possibly.
