   So, this sword is appropriate for costume wear and is long enough to not be laughable. The details of “engraving” on the hilt and blade are OK. It definitely looks like a costume piece and is not going to fool anyone that it might be real. My only real issue is that the belt is sewed on to the “sheath” perpendicularly to the blade, so when you wear it, it wants to stand straight up and down your leg, not swing so the tip points backwards. Also, the belt is just fabric that must be tied across your waist, no buckles or fasteners here. Otherwise, it’ll do for a costume party.

   Overall good product, good size sword. Sword was a good amount of plastic so it doesn’t bend easy and has some weight to it, feels somewhat real. Great colors on both sword and holder. Only problem I encountered was the stitching broke as my son wore it, needs to had beefier stitching to hold on lion head to belt. Good product overall for the price.

   Solid material with a great fitting sheath, had some weight to it to make it more realistic, only downside is that it hangs straight down and not at an angle but depending on how you tie it on, you can get it at an angle, overall I was very pleased

   We ordered the product for Holloween, it arrived on time and in great condition. It was a fantastic addition to my adult Gladiator costume. I would recommend it highly. It was well made and durable. I’m almost 6 foot tall with a 34inch waist and it worked perfectly in relation to my size. Great deal.

   The sword is awesome. The lion is awesome and I love the fact that it ties so that it can fit a big range of sizes HOWEVER my son was wearing it for the third day and the leather ripped right at the seam and so the lion is falling off. Just wish it would have been a little stronger because now I have to fix it, I was upset about it breaking so soon because it was $15. If it was prices for less I may have been ok with it.. Anyways that’s the only thing! I do agree that the sword is a good strong plastic and my son loves it even though it’s broken 🙂

   I used this for a Lannister Game of Thrones costume and got some compliments. I got is specifically for the Lions head. However, it’s more of a short Roman sword as per the title than a knights sword. If size truly does not matter as they say, this should be fine. However if you prefer a weightier weapon, I think I’d go with this one ( Disguise Men’s Royal Sword Costume Accessory, Silver, Adult ), for size and authenticity

   It totally worked for the purpose of my son’s costume. But I’m giving it 3 stars only because it is sewn poorly. Worn 3 times and it’s hanging on by a literal thread.
