This shipped to me sooner than expected which I was excited about because I had planned to make alterations to it. It comes in three pieces and the top most piece is a little difficult to fit into the middle piece in the one I received but I’ll just have to strong arm it. I actually love that it come in three pieces as I will be using it as a cosplay prop and being able to disassemble it will make transport so much easier! It is thin and hollow plastic so the weight of the top section makes it wiggle around more than I would like it to, but maybe just weighting the bottom would take that issue away. Altogether very happy with this product.

As a prop, it is great! However it is lightweight blowmolded plastic and bends easily at the joints (it is three pieces which screw together). I have added a painter’s extension handle to the inside to give it strength for the way I am using it…which is as a lamp staff for a Plague Doctor costume. (the lamp is a replica oil lamp with an led light).

… but I thought it wouldn’t be so cheaply made and flimsy. The first disappointment was the packaging. Instead of having the zip ties just wrapped around the bundle, holes were drilled into the staff segments so the ties could be laced through. Yes, the staff isn’t very realistic, but holes drilled through each side on both ends just makes it look even cheaper. The second disappointment is that the segments cannot be lined up well enough when screwed in to de-emphasize the edges. I’ve tried swapping segments and several tricks to line up the edges, and still there are gaps sometimes as large as a quarter inch. Last disappointment: the top segment is wobbly despite how tightly screwed in I get it. I feel like too much handling will cause the staff to break at that seam.

We bought this for my 12 year-old “Jack Frost” custom. It looks great, size and shape are perfect. You do have to take in account that it is made of plastic and comes in 3 parts that kind of screw into each other. In our case, 4 minutes of using it to pose for pictures, one of the unions broke! My brother is great at fixing stuff, so he cut off a little piece, inserted a PVC tube he had left from another project and glued the pieces together using an epoxy kind of cement. Now it is much more resistant and will last for several Halloweens for sure.I have seen in other people’s comments that it does tend to break in the union, so take that in account before buying.

I really like how it is able to come apart but hate the holes they cut in the center to do the tie wraps and you can still notice the points where it is screwed in but still good for the price. I wanted it for a simple cosplay for Jack frost so was going to be painting and adding glitter to make it more snowy. Only wish they did not cut little round holes in various parts to wrap when it is already boxed up, kind of messes more with the look. Good for simple prop.

The staff definitely worked -enough- but it was noticeably wobbly and unstable. Not bad for the price though and the fact that it was literally the only real option I had for the costume

I received my package today and I did not know what I was going to expect the staff is good but but it comes with holes in in the staff so I could stay together it looks cheap it’s a little it’s flimsy in my opinion it’s not worth the money but it is good for cosplay use but but be careful if you do purchase it cuz it is flimsy it is plastic and I feel like one wrong move with it it will break

Very tall! It comes in 2 peaces and doesn’t screw together very well it bent pretty easy
