Great versatile piece to use for a variety of Renaissance faire looks. It’s pretty light and breathable too. The biggest downside is that it’s see through, so you’ll need a slip or something underneath.

I found the dress I was looking for for the Renaissance faire: a comfy olive-toned dress! I got a size S/M; I’m 5’3”, 175lbs. The fabric feels thin, but not cheaply thin. Great fit and pretty decent quality.

The media could not be loaded. I disabled the audio as I was being a goob, and the video was originally intended for my family. The dress fit really well! It was perfect underneath my medieval garb, which needed to be historically accurate due to me being support staff for a group that was hired to perform at a local Renaissance Faire. I washed it prior to wearing it and did not experience shrinking. I was careful to run it on a delicate cycle, and I used the tumble dry setting before hanging it up overnight to finish drying. I was able to iron it without any issues, and I ensured it was on a lower heat setting. My only complaint is the elastic in the arms, right above the flared part of the sleeves. It was SO tight. I had to cut and unpick the elastic to allow for nearly 5 inches of fabric. I can’t remember the length of the elastic I removed. Besides that, I had no issues with the dress, and I received many compliments on my completed costume at the Faire!

Not sure how this is supposed to fit but the elastic in the arms was tight. It was returned.

The sizing on this killed me. I ended up getting the largest size to fit an 8/10 body and then I had to remove some of the elastic from the sleeves so it wouldn’t cut off circulation. But it was fine everywhere else and contributed really well to my Hobbit costume this Halloween. I’ll definitely use it again for future costumes because it’s made well (except for the oddly strangulating sleeve elastic).
