   3 of us bought the this outfit to wear to a 70s disco party. We looked great but all of us planned on taking the costume off and throwing it away the minute we got home. The glitter fell off nonstop. Honestly I thought after a couple hours of dancing that the glitter would be gone but nope.

   I am 240 and wear size 20 in jeans, I usually get a 2x but I read the reviews and seen it runs large so I got a xl instead. That was also too big for me but I still wore it. It is super cute however besides it running big you will literally leave glitter EVERYWHERE. You may also want to wear a cami underneath because the only thing that holds the top together is that gold band. I feel like I’ll never get all this glitter out of my apartment and car. That was the only big downfall for me and it running big. It is also not made for shorter people (I’m 5’2) my pants drug all over the ground even in heels.

   The costume was 200% glitter and 10% stretch. I had to buy big to fit my top area, and ended up knotting the pants with tights underneath. Outfit left glitter EVERYWHERE after wearing it for a full 10 hour shift. Had to machine wash my seat cover, vaccuum my car, mop my floors twice, and another round of sweeping to get most of it up.

   Got this for a 70s themed NYE party. I’m a solid 16/18 so ordered the 3x & 2x not knowing how sizing was. The 2x pants were bigger than the 3x pants but the top on 2x fit better so went with that. I probably should have gotten the 1x but it wouldn’t have arrived in time. The pants were very long so I ended up just cutting off the bottom to fit the shoes I wore & used safety pins to pin the waist to fit.My biggest complaint with this was the glitter. I’m not kidding when I say it looked like I just shook a bottle of glitter around my bathroom/closet trying this on. I literally tried the second one on in the shower & when I got dressed at the hotel I got dressed in the shower & just walked out the door to minimize glitter in the room. We used a sheet in my car too minimize glitter in my car but it’s still going to be there u til I can deep clean it. Had I had more time &/or had there been more 70s plus size costumes available, I would have chosen something else.

   The outfit runs big. I wear a 16-18 and got the 1XL and if I had time I would have returned it for the next smaller size. Despite the pics looking like gold, the outfit is black with silver glitter and the belt is gold. The shirt has no buttons. It’s just a wrap around and the gold belt holds it closed. My glitter didn’t shed as bad as it sounds like everyone else’s did, but I did leave a trace of glitter everywhere I went. The Velcro of the belt will snag the outfit if it touches it; which is kind of hard to avoid. The pants are extremely long. I’m 5’5 and wore 4 inch heels with the pants pulled up under my breasts and even then they were about an inch past my shoes. They are flare bottom pants so it was kind of dangerous when the pants would get caught under my four inch heel while walking. All that aside, the outfit was very comfortable and I got a lot of compliments on it. No regrets.

   Material is thin, stretchy and a little picky. Pants are very long I’m 5’6” and I’ll have to cut a good bit off. It has gold accessories but the shirt and pants are mostly a silver glitter. Yes, glitter…you will dust everyone with glitter. They are no buttons on the top the belt holds it closed, I purchased a cami to go under.

   I had a 70’s disco themed party for work and got this for my costume and guess what I WON best costume and got $1000.00 it fit nice good material the glitter did come off a little bit though and it came really fast
