   Bought a small for my 9 yr old… tall n thin. perfect fit. The dress is a thin velvet but airy and has quality sewing. The beads are velcro at the broaches and thw crown is crap but i bought the metal frozen crown so that wasnt a big deal to me. This dress will be used for her frozen queen elsa costume as I couldn’t find a quality frozen costume. 50 for cheap looking sequin thrown together. no ty. So I went to joanns Ann fabric grab a few yards of sheer snowflake fabric pinned it on to the back and voila you got yourself a frozen gown.

   This dress is very beautiful. My five year old wore an XS and it fit her just right. However, the length is very long and I had to hem it up, which was no problem. The necklace was great, as was the crown that it came in. My family and I went to the fair and it was a big hit! It has been 4 months and the gem on the necklace came off. It was no problem to super glue or hot glue it back on. My daughter plays with her dress all the time and it has lasted through extensive play.

   Thank you to everyone who wrote reviews. My granddaughter normally wears a size 6x, but based on the reviews, I ordered a size small which fit my granddaughter’s slender body perfectly. However, she is 4 feet tall and I had to hem the costume 2 1/2 inches. I am very satisfied with the quality of the costume and my granddaughter is thrilled. She can’t wait to wear it to the Medieval Times show.

   My daughter was having a 5th grade medieval day so I decided to splurge and buy her a costume. It ended up fitting really well (she did have to wear a tank top under it because the bodice was cut too low on her). She’s already planning to wear it for Halloween this year. Only drawback, she didn’t get to wear the crown as it broke as soon as she took it out of the package. Luckily she had several others.

   I found the costume to be nicely made. Definitely better quality than other costumes I have purchased in the past. However, I returned it for two reasons. One, it was too big. I ordered a medium for a girl who wears a size 10. It was a little too long. Second, I found that the bodice was too low. Would have meant putting a shirt underneath which would have ruined the look of the costume.

   This is a wonderful little costume. We bought it for a renaissance fair for my grand daughter and she looked wonderful and was comfortable.

   The dress fits beautifully, is well-made, and perfect for my eight year old to wear as Queen Elizabeth I during her Living History Museum presentation
