   I bought this skirt for my 7 year old daughter’s Halloween costume. She will also use it for 50’s day at school and “twins” day. I bought 3 so 2 of her friends can match. Good skirt for the price. I like that it’s elastic waist will fit various sized waists – she will be able to wear for at least a couple years to come if not more. It will fit a skinny child or heavier child. As far as the “poodle” design. Yes, it’s not exactly a show dog, but the girls were so excited about it, they didn’t notice it didn’t have ears. But truly, it looked very cute on them with a collared shirt and a black belt (purchased separately at a thrift store). The sparkly gold leash added some flare. Fabric is spot clean only which is a downfall, but so far, so good!

   We needed a 50’s costume for a school musical and this skirt worked well.First, this is just a skirt. No belt, no shirt, no scarf. Just the skirt.The skirt isn’t very well made. The skirt is felt with an elastic waist, but it’s one of those elastic waists where the the elastic can slip and roll in the waistband. The poodle is fleecy and sewn to the skirt, but it just gives the “idea” of a poodle. It doesn’t actually look like one. The poodle’s leash is a sewn on strip of gold sequins that rise up to the waistband.As poor as this skirt looked up close, when my daughter was on stage with her dance group it looked great! It moved well and flared when it needed to. I was happy with how it worked out.I’m not convinced this skirt would last long with repeated use, but for a few rehearsals and performances and with good care, it held up very well.

   A little disappointed; I thought the White shirt AND Pink Poodle skirt were included together. Had I checked this sooner I’d have shopped for the White shirt as my Grandchild needs this to wear to school this Tuesday. Going to have to go out last-minute to check local stores. 🙁 Fortunately, I ordered the Poodle socks separately.

   Not a huge fan. The skirt is a felt like material and it’s not very flattering on. The waste has a very thick bunched band

   Feels cheap, kind of like the fabric that’s in the arts and craft section of Walmart. Super long so if you have a short toddler then it may need trimmed.
