   Had to be the first to review in case anyone wants to pick this up for Halloween.I searched all over for a king costume as I’m decorating my house as a castle/dungeon theme for Halloween. Got to be King of the Castle :)Just arrived, great first impression!Pros:Tunic embroidery is good qualityCape is niceCons:’Belt’ is a strip of pleather with Velcro. It works, but I’d consider picking up a nicer one if you want to kick it up a notch.Crown is two pieces of heavy rubber, held together by 4 plugs, and is a bit big for my medium sized head. I’m probably going to want to glue it and put some foam or something in it so it doesn’t make my ears stick out!Neutral / other comments:It’s a pretty thin material, so will be great in hot conditions, but you may want a layer underneath if taking it out trick or treating or in colder weather.Medallion/chain is alright. It looks good with the costume but not particularly good nor bad quality. It’s two pieces.. a plastic pin and a gold rope braid.Final comments:Happy with my purchase, has all parts necessary for a costume and ready to wear out of the box. Could use some tweaking or additional upgrades to make it better. Do recommend.

   Due to COVID we had to improvise for our God Daughter’s third birthday. She wanted a “Princess” party but couldn’t have party attendees. The adults all dressed in character! The King costume was so nice! It fits true to size. The crown was small and uncomfortable to the point he didn’t wear it. O The material is high quality and arrived quickly.

   I ordered this costume expecting a new costume as I paid the price for a new costume. When it arrived, I was dismayed to find a sticker on the tag of the tunic that said “Mike,” and the armpits or the tunic smelled like body odor. Someone used this costume and returned it after use, and I was sent this used, stinky costume. I’m not impressed.The costume in itself is great. I just would have preferred something new that didn’t smell.

   It’s workable. I’m 6’0″, 180 lbs. The long sleeve “shirt” is a little tight and it’s make of nylon so it’s hot. The black belt is just a strip of thin vinyl with a Velcro closure (not a buckle). The cloak looks nice and fits well for someone my height. The gold decorative scapula is just some fancy wide fabric piping. You might want to get something heavier (metal). The outfit is okay for a quick party costume. But if you’re looking for something cosplay worthy, you’ll have to do some upgrades.
