This wig is ok. It is by far a typical Halloween, one use only, type of wig. I am a drag queen and I was hoping to be able to reuse the wig in the future however this is not going to happen. For my purposes the wig is not very good. However that being said for most people using it for a one time costume, it would work. The biggest problem I faced is that it was rather frizzy, and kept getting in my face all night. I would recommend using something to either pull it back, or keep the ‘hair’ bunched in place.

When the wig arrived it came much lighter than pictured… Think carrot top. It was also kinda ratty and had been teased, but not properly. Fortunately, I kind of expected this for a synthetic, low cost, costume wig and I work at a salon, so I have access to all kinds of styling aids. So, I made the wig a bit better than it came, and it served its purpose for a Halloween party. If you want what is pictured, do not purchase this wig. If you just need long curly red hair and you are able to give it some TLC, go for it!

Works quite nicely with a wig cap and a little styling for my Elsa costume. The old one was getting pretty shabby and thin, the kids at my princess parties were starting to notice my brown hair peeking out. This one has plenty of extra hair around the face to help hide any stragglers. Of course it’s just a cheap synthetic costume wig, don’t be expecting miracles here! Get a wig cap and bobby pins and spend a little time styling, and it’ll work just fine.

I liked this wig. It was a bit small for my head but I have A LOT of hair so that may be the reason for that. Some of the strands across the bangs had come loose from where the rest of the hair and would not stay in place. Also where the bangs are put to the side is a little poufy which made it look more like a wig and less like real hair. Other than that though I loved it. Its very long and feels almost like real hair. Great for a costume.

Ordered this as a photo prop for photography. It’s great for the price, I wouldn’t expect it to be top quality for only 5-6 bucks. The part is down the middle, not off to the side like the photo represents it, and there are spots on it that are a bit ‘frizzy’ up at the top where the ‘hair’ joins the mesh. If you move the hair around the scalp much, you can see the black mesh underneath. But, for my purposes, it was exactly what I needed. A simple, fun, ‘mermaid’ wig to use for photos. My 16 year old daughter intends to use it with a steampunk costume idea as well.Attached are a couple photos taken of a friend’s daughter at my home studio set up, to give you an idea of how it looks for photos.

I’m going to say with confidence that this is the worst wig I have ever owned. And I buy a lot of fairly cheap wigs. But considering the fact that it’s a $5 wig, it’s fantastic. With a few YouTube videos about how to style wigs and make them look less terrible, it’s not as terrible as it is right out of the packaging. I do have to say, if you want an Ariel wig, this isn’t the one. It’s straight up orange.

The wig does not look like the picture, but it will work. The color matches. Sometimes cheaper wigs have more stray hairs or matted. Since I am just wearing with a costume, it will work. I would suggest a wig cap to gather your hair under it and bobby pins to hold it in place. A free plastic ribbon pin was included, which was a nice surprise. It was actually pretty so I was going to wear it. When I went to take it out of the bag, I notice the ribbon was not attach to the pin. I will try glue it.

The color of the wig is definitely more red than the picture and I had to do a little “work” to it but after that it it is ok for the price. The wig fits well on an adult woman and the length of the hair is perfect if you add a little creativity to make it look a little more realistic!
