   I bought this costume for myself and I am a women because all the costumes for women outside of being custom made and highly priced do not fight me. I am overweight but active and have a problem losing the weight. I work with horses daily, with the goal one day to ride again. I was very discourage when there was not a women’s size that would fit me. This is very discouraging because it makes me feel that no matter how hard I try to lose the weight no one else is willing to work with me. So I decided to look in the men’s section and found this costume that saved my Halloween with my kids. Now I can go out and enjoy the night with my kids like they had asked me to 🙂

   Looks good. They shirt fits great but ALL the buckles are way too big. I will have to cut them off I think. The “gloves” fit well and the boot covers seem to be big too. Maybe I should have gotten a smaller size but I know the shirt would not have fit.I am 5’10 and 235 with broad shoulders. With modifications I can get it to work.

   bought this for my fiancé to match my costume, (maiden marian) he’s a 46 pant size and a 2XLT in shirts. First of all it doesn’t come with pants, so he wore black slacks to match, then the top was a bit too small, it fit him sort of short too, he was very uncomfortable for the night. the belt fit but was also very uncomfortable. the boot covers were the only thing he didn’t complain about lol, not to mention the material is very cheep looking. it worked for the night but he didn’t want to wear it for more than a few hours.

   I’m a guy of decent size, I wear a size 50 jacket and have a 40-inch waist. This costume could have been better. It has a cool look to it but ther were some issues. Boot spats are way too big, would love a way to tighten them. As it stands, I have to use tape to tighten them around my calves. The belt needed extra added velcro so I could tighten it around my waist to where it wouldn’t fall off of me. The shirt fit fine, I knew I had to buy a bigger size to get the right shirt fit because costumes usually run small. However, the belt strap that comes up over the chest had no gripping strength when it came to staying up over the shoulder. I had to add tape to that as well. All in all, had to do a lot of modification to get this to work, couldn’t just wear it right out of the package.

   I am a guy of decent size, I wear a size 50 XL Tall jacket. This costume has a cool look but some parts were thin plastic and easy to break. Boot spats are a little big but fit with some black tape, would love a way to tighten them. All the accessories fit and it was a great look for a big guy, the belt buckle broke the first time, the shirt fit fine. Overall, it looked the part and was fun to wear. Considering the cost, it is a winner and I will wear it in the future with some modifications

   The costume itself is ok but the leather looking straps on the front started falling apart as soon as I touched them to buckle them. In addition, because of the flimsy material the buckles will not stay buckled. If you don’t mind having to sew and add to this costume, it’s ok.
