   After reading reviews I debated ordering but the price point was great and free returns so I went for it. I was glad I did. Yes the yellow skirt part of the dress is very sheer and I actually wore two slips to cover up and to add volume. I got the XXL and normally wear 16 and it fit great. I am 5′ 2″ so I had to wear my tallest heals and the dress just touched the floor. The only thing I didn’t realize was that it was not washable. Tag says to spot clean only. Otherwise no issues with the dress.

   The costume is poor quality, but it does look nice. It looks like the picture on the website (color, fit, style). Unfortunately, most of the the material is very flimsy, especially the ribbons and the skirt; the bodice material was sturdier though.The first day I had it, one of the blue waist-tie ribbons ripped at the seam. I wasnt expecting wonderful quality, just decent quality. I don’t expect a $30 costume to be a one-time-use disposable costume; for this price, I would expect more than a few uses out of it. I was careful with it, but it still tore; so you can still baby it, but it might still rip or tear. I definitely do not like that.I do not think I would purchase this again, and I am now a little leery of buying from this brand (California Costumes) again.

   I’m giving this 4 stars because the quality is better than I expected. The sleeves at the Elastic part (right below the puffy part) is a little tighter than I would like, even more so on my left arm than my right, and the collar does not seem to want to stand up correctly (partial stand at best). The skirt is thick, and flowy and is not see-through as some commenters have stated. All in all the costume is comfortable. However, I only tried it on once and plan to update if the costume does not hold out for the occasion. I am 5′ 7″ and the skirt stops a little above the tops of my feet (which is what I wanted). My measurements are 42 x 38 x 45 and the 1X fits nicely.

   Well made for the price, only issue is I went up a size after reading the reviews and glad I did but it didn’t make a difference in the arms. The poi sleeve is too tight around the arms. For plus size this needs to be bigger. Otherwise a beautiful costume and love the fact that the collar stays up like Snow White’s. Tip: lightly iron collar and skirt gives it a finished look and I purchased a little blue jay

   This costume made me feel like a real life Disney princess…soooo many compliments!! Definitely could’ve gone down a size but was comfortable and easy to wear all day at work!!

   The skirt part of the costume is very sheer. You have to wear something underneath it. Otherwise, the costume fits as expected.

   Lovely! A bit tight! I’m 5’2 250 and mine is 2xl. It was a bit tight in my arms and chest. But I still managed and I loved it!! Next time I’ll size up.

   The costume fit my body great. However, I’ve got chubby arms. So I actually ended up cutting off the sleeves to make it fit more comfortably. It’s also pretty thin so, I had to wear a slip.
