The wig itself looked great in the pictures. The “hair” itself was good quality. The actual wig had fewer flowers woven into it than the pictured wig. Additionally, the small braided portion of the wig was fastened to the larger braid by bobby-pins that kept coming loose and eventually fell out. I tried to add more bobby-pins to keep it together, but that solution only worked for so long. I was left frustrated!

You can see the head cap part through the very thin hair on the top of the wig, and there were parts that looked scorched and weren’t smooth. The braid part is nice and thick, but this makes it very heavy so the wig does not stay on a child’s head. It was very messy directly out of the package on top and required lots of styling to even be useable. There aren’t ways to secure it on the head, so we just did our best to use it, but messed with it the entire night for Halloween. It’s just OK. I was hopeful it would be good because we wanted a nice, thick braid for the costume, but that is really the only thing that was good about this wig.

The braid had pieces sticking out everywhere like it was coming apart. On one side of the part the hair was not smooth and together. You could see where the hair was pushed into the scalp of the wig. It’s also heavy and itchy. I kind of wish we had gotten an unbraided wig and braided it ourselves. In addition, the wig is not easy to use with glasses. Of course that might be true of most wigs used for play.

My granddaughter who is 4 has been infatuated with Repunzels long hair. When I got it the wig was wrapped in netting. After taking it out of net placing it on my granddaughter, didn’t take but s hour later to come out of braids and the shiny fake hair was a tangled mess. So no don’t use as a play item. Just maybe one time use costume.The product not meant for playtime.
