   It is a costume. Expect to have some tailoring done. Neckline was way too low and it gaped at the sides of the front. My friend did the necessary tailoring and modifications and it was spectacular!! I was complimented greatly by many. The front jewel on the crown fell off before it could be worn but I never planned on wearing it anyway. I was gifting it to a young girl and it fell off as she took it out to look at it. Was a good deal for the money.

   Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this dress. It fit well for the most part. The only problem is that it shows too much cleavage on me (Im a size 34 D) so I am going to have it tailored to lift the shoulders up a bit and fix that issue. The crown is pretty sorry, when I opened it and tried it on one of the jewels fell off immediately. However the dress feels like great quality for the price and I am excited to wear it! 🙂 I think with tailoring it will be perfect. I bought size medium (5’ 4 and 135 lbs)

   Runs true to size. Color is more on the pink side than maroon. I ordered an XL and it fit great. I was 5’4 and 200lbs at the time (with D cup). Length was perfect for flats. The belt does not stay on well, it needed to be pinned down.

   The dress is perfect in length. The size says for 14-16 and wasn’t sure it would fit, but it was great. It fit the right way and not too big or too small. Extra pieces were a great addition. Good costume for the cool October weather.

   I got this for a villain-themed parade float (I was Mother Gothel from Tangled). It arrived on time or close to it. It was a little bit more fuschia/pink than I expected, and the “embroidered” pattern on the front was printed. It was, however, the proper length, and the velvet material was comfortable, if a little toasty. It doesn’t have any structure in the bodice, but that was to be expected. I didn’t wear the accompanying crown for my costume, but it was a piece of rubber and elastic with gems that kept popping out. I would still prefer that to cheap plastic, though. The belt did move, but a quick stitch can fix that.For the money, this is a good costume. I wouldn’t wear it to a serious convention or renaissance fair, but it’s perfect for a themed party or parade.

   Great costume dress ! I was mother Gothel for a Halloween and this dress was perfect it was a little tight in the chest area but I’m a DD so it’s normal for me if I want something to fit in the arm’s and shoulders. Which the dress did and it was comfortable the entire time

   she’s ABSOLUTELY gorg but is not for literally anyone under like 5’7, i’m 5’3 and i was quite literally STRUGGLING to walk in this during halloween, and the coustume was a little too big for me, but it was so pretty and came w everything! super amazing quality for $40.00!’ thank you !!
