Jacket – Nice detail on cap sleeves. Buttons and buttonholes are sturdy. This would support a light blouse underneath if jacket off/on is a requirement.Skirt – ¼ elastic waist, very comfortable. If you’re using on stage with lights, wear a slip. If taking jacket off, may need a belt to make it look finished.White dickie – Velcro enclosures on the back of the collar hold the dickie around the neck. Also has a tie for around the waist to hold it in place under the jacket.Red tie – 2 pieces of fabric on elastic that goes over the head and then under the collar.Hat – Comes with a head band to hold it on your head. Flowers have Velcro on the bottom which affixes easily to the felt hat brim.Umbrella cover – very nice quality and colors.Overall – I’m 5’4” 165ish. Normally would have purchased a large but went with XL because of concerns that the jacket sleeves would be too tight. Skirt is a bit big around the waist and hangs all the way to the floor which I am happy with because I won’t have to worry about the matching shoes. Jacket fits perfectly. Will need to be pressed with a very cool iron or steamed to get rid of the wrinkles. The tags say spot clean only, do not wash do not dry, do not dry clean. I will likely take my chances on gentle/cold cycle. I am very pleased with this purchase overall!

The costume is every bit what previous reviews said. So cute. The overcoat is nicely tailored and is a bit snug if you’re chesty (I ordered a medium and large would’ve been too big) and the parrot for the umbrella is super cute. The elastic waistband on the skirt is comfortable and the length perfect for my height. The hat was a bit awkward. Not so much of a hat that fits snuggly on the head but a prop. Great value and everyone’s whose seen thinks it’s adorable.

She loved he costume. We will probably add a tank or tee under Dickie we don’t want to purchase a white shirt. She is very excited for Halloween now

Almost everyone recognized it, and the kids loved it. The guy who didn’t recognize it thought I was a gangster, and that was funny. My only complaint was that it is made for an hourglass figure, and doesn’t fit a pear shape very well. If your waist isn’t smaller than your bust, it won’t make you look like the pictures. I anticipated that based on pictures in the listing and reviews and went up a size, and it worked as long as I didn’t move. Running around chasing kids and playing games, it kept sliding up and looked kinda funny in candid shots.

I am 5’5″ and 135 lbs so I got a Medium. It fit perfectly! Since the outfit is made out of polyester (or something like that!) there were no real wrinkles. The dickie and bow tie were the perfect addition to the look. The headband with the hat made it easy to keep the hat on and the little flowers had velcro on the bottoms so they attached to the hat without any problems. I was able to get the parrot handle on my existing umbrella to complete the look. I had tons of compliments and I thoroughly enjoyed the costume.

Costume was perfect. The only things I didn’t like was how the hat attached. That too some work to make it stay on.

Nice quality costume. The fabric is of a good quality, unlike what you get with most costumes. I love that it came with the hat and umbrella end to make the costume more authentic. It fits as expected but I would size up if you don’t like things fitted.
