   I love this costume! I ordered a 3x to make sure it would fit me. I’m 5’5, 200lbs, a 40dd, and i wear an 18 in jeans. I had to go with the 3x b/c of my waist measurement. Most costumes that include my chest size, won’t fit my waist. This 3x was stretchy enough to accommodate. I love the low cut top. It gave me great cleavage even though it was a larger measurement than 40. The material is a bit thin, but nothing ripped. The embroidery on the bodice is very pretty and the pewter-looking buttons for the green ribbon laces make this look more authentic than just a costume. I received many compliments and many requests for pictures when I wore this at a beer festival. People said they preferred my more classic dirndl look compared to the other girls wearing the trampy costume versions at that event. I do like the trampy versions, tho. Those costumes are never in my plus size for me to enjoy. Anyway, the cleavage on this gives enough eye candy for me to be a bit of a tart and feel very sexy. My only complaint is that the skirt is way too long. It went just above my ankles. I wanted it at my knees or just below. I would have liked to show off some cute knee socks with bows. I guess at 5’5 I’m too short for the skirt. Also, the petticoat was very scratchy. I still wore it b/c it made the skirt look better. My nicer petticoat wasn’t long enough

   This is such a fun dress! It fits true to size and cinches well at the waist so it is flattering as well for all sizes. There is a layer that goes under the skirt so it maintains the poofy appearance, and the string on the front also helps to define your figure. I have only worn it a few times and the bottom is a bit scratchy but well worth it for the price and quality.

   Okay just joking. Kind of. But I was asked out by my friend within a week of wearing this to a haunted house and my current boyfriend is a fan of it as well, so…It’s pretty easy to put on and has plenty of room for bigger busts. The petticoat is cool and adds a little flare on the bottom but not needed. I’m 5’5 and range between 190-200lbs, usually wear a 16-18.

   Costume arrived new and intact. However, upon opening the bag I was hit in the face with a strong odor resembling fish. Typically this is caused by red or black dyes so I am not too concerned. No mold or anything was found. Just make sure you have time (3-4 days) to air out the costume before you steam/wear it. Or else you may end up not smelling so nice at your event. I also used Bounce rapid touch up spray and it helped.

   As someone who values authenticity and costume comfort, I had mixed feelings about the Women’s Plus Size Oktoberfest Fraulein Costume. Let me break it down for you.Firstly, the sizing left much to be desired. While it’s labeled as a 3X, it felt more like a 2X. I’d recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes or want extra room for comfort.The biggest disappointment for me was the apron. It was tiny and didn’t provide the coverage I expected. Considering the price I paid for the costume, I didn’t want to spend even more on an additional apron to make the outfit work.On the positive side, the costume’s design and overall appearance were decent. It captured the Oktoberfest theme well, and the quality of the materials used was ok.

   When I opened the package I gagged! It smelled like rotting fish and I couldn’t wear it for the occasion that I purchased it for.Will never buy from this company again!!
